YJ UPDATE
FIRST SEASON
101-109 have all aired.
110 was previewed at Comic-Con and will premiere on Cartoon Network on September 16th.
111-119 are also in the can, i.e. totally completed and ready for airing.
120-123 are all in post-production. Today we previewed the music for 120, and spotted the music for 121.
124-126 are still being animated.

SECOND SEASON
201 is shipping to Korea at the end of the week.
202 is in timing.
203 is in storyboard clean-ups.
204 is waiting for board notes.
205-206 are in storyboard.
207 records tomorrow.
208-210 are all in script.
211-220 have been approved into production. Brandon Vietti, Kevin Hopps and myself spent the last week (including Saturday) breaking the last six episodes (one per day). We are pitching the arc of the season to DC, CN and WB this Wednesday. Assuming that goes well, we'll have our first writer's meeting to assign 211-214 on Thursday. I have beatsheets completed on 211-216. Have to write up the beatsheets for 217-220, but I've got all the beats on index cards, so it's just a matter of finding the time to transcribe them into a document.

Young Justice comic issue #7 - Rabbit Holes

Young Justice issuse #7 -Rabbit Hole is avaible to buy. The summary for this issue is: When night descends on Gotham City, Artemis takes to the streets. Prowling the rooftops and the alleyways for the first time, this teen archer has a choice to make: Will she fight on the side of the angels or follow a darker path? You can buy this issue at your local comic book store or you can order it online, like amazon.com (which is what i do). I'm very interested in buying this issue because the story line is suppose to dwell into Artemis' past....which i'm totally interested in learning. Is anyone thinking of buying this issue? Updates about Young Justice

September 16th (the day when YJ will be back on air) is approaching soon and it seems like a lot of Young Justice news is being reported. I'm sure everyone, fans and the team that works on Young Justice, are getting more and more excited! So I wanted to keep up my thing of posting YJ updates just in case anyone has missed any information. Before I get into the updates, I would like to point out that I've been talking to some YJ fans and they have told me that they are worried that Young Justice is losing it's popularity, I personally don't think so. Of course I don't know what ratings the show gets but I do think YJ is still going strong. There has been an overwhelming want of new episodes to finally show, the Young Justice comic book is going very strong and new issues are being created every month, there tons of art/fanfiction/and videos being made all the time. Plus the fandom on websites are huge and exciting. Plus I'm sure when the show starts up again, Young Justice will gain even more fans. Ok onto the updates.....

• Producer Greg Weisman did an interview where he says, "If you're paying close attention, at least five or six members of The Light might be kind of obvious at this point".
• Danica McKellar, voice actress for Miss Martian, revealed that "SuperMartian" (M'gann & Conner) will soon kiss :).
• A big congratulations to Phil Bourassa, Young Justice character designer, has won an Emmy for his work on the series!!! YAY!
• The latest comic issue for the Young Justice comic book is now available to buy. The comic issue is #7 and focuses on Artemis.
• Here is what Christopher Jones, artist for the YJ comic book, has to say on what to expect on the upcoming issues, "I can tell you that the next several stories are all two-parters. Issues 7 & 8 focus on Artemis and her back story. We even get to see her first encounter with the Young Justice team from her perspective. Had you wondered why she shot that arrow through the window during that fight with Amazo and then disappeared? Read the comic and you'll find out!".
• Producer Greg Weisman will become co-writer for the Young Justice comic books.
• Here is the next episodes that will be showing on Cartoon Network (this is the U.S.A schedule, other countries might be different so check you local listings): "Denial"(Aug.26th), "Downtime"(Sep.2nd), "Bereft"(Sep.9th), "Targets"(Sep.16th).

New Young Justice DVD: Season One, Volume Two

Just last month Young Justice DVD: Season One, Volume One was released to the public and now Warner has announced that a second DVD Young Justice DVD: Season One, Volume Two will be released on October 25th, 2011. On the DVD there will be four episodes, which are "Schooled", "Infiltrator", "Denial", and "Downtime". I'm assuming that when the rest of the episodes are finally aired, there will be more DVDs coming out. What does everyone think about another YJ DVD coming out? I personally would buy the DVD when all of the episodes of season one is aired so then I can spend my money on one package. I read some reviews by other Young Justice fans about the first DVD and of course they loved the episodes but the DVD formatting was very disappointing. Some of the complaints were that there was only four episodes and the price was too high.

I have posted also the cover art of the DVDs. Do you all like the DVD cover? I think it looks awesome and I love the characters action poses. The only thing that I find odd is that Miss Martian is not on the cover, but she is on the back. I wonder why the creative team did that...maybe there wasn't enough space? Oh well, stills looks cool :) As October 25th comes closer I will remind everyone about the new Young Justice DVD: Season One, Volume Two.

Lately I've been wondering if any Young Justice t-shirts have been made because it is a popular show now and as the days go by it gets even more fans. I found this website: www.goodguycomics.com that sells Young Justice T-Shirts. I do think they mean Young Justice the comics but hey, it's still Young Justice :) The website is selling Robin, Kid Flash, Superboy, and Wonder Girl t-shirts. The sizes range between Small - XXLarge. The prices start at $17.99 and up (the bigger the shirt, the higher the price). Young Justice will air Septemeber 16th!!!!!

Yes the news is true, new episodes of Young Justice will air September 16th starting with episode 10 "Targets". I know every Young Justice fan is probably super excited because we had to at least wait for about 5/6 months for a new episode to be airing :) I want to give a big thanks to Young Justice fan Juan M. for pointing this information out to me! I started college two days ago, so I wasn't able to research stuff about YJ but thanks to Juan, I now know when YJ will start back up again!

Don't forget that Cartoon Network has changed the time slot of Young Justice, YJ will now be showing at 6:30 pm. But don't worry I will remind everyone as the day gets closer. Oh and I know that some of you Young Justice fans are also "Batman: The Brave and The Bold" fans and that also starts September 16th at 6:00pm!!!

Ok, I'm super excited and I can't wait :) I just keeping thinking "FINALLY!" lol. What are you all thinking? Let everyone know what your thoughts on are YJ now given an airing date by leaving a comment :)

Mattel Young Justice DC Classics 5.5" Robin Figure Review

This is a great review from YouTube user darthzara. His YouTube channel is: http://www.youtube.com/user/darthzara. Check the video out to see if you would ever like to buy a Mattel Young Justice figurine. While I was watching the video, I totally agree with darthzara about Robin being too big. Everyone knows Robin is more lean in the animated show, he may have muscles but still lean. So maybe this version of Robin is suppose to be when he is older? Young Justice Season 2: Invasion Poster!

This is the promo poster for season 2 of Young Justice called "Invasion". Season 2 will have about 10 episodes and the producers said that more characters will be introduced, plus the characters in the YJ team will grow up. Producer Greg Weisman has updated the Young Justice fans by giving this statement about season 2:

"We immediately began work on this new season last week, and are breaking approximately (but not quite) one episode per day. The creative team is fundamentally the same as for Season One.And though, of course, we will be introducing many new characters episodically in Season Two (just as we do episodically in Season One), I don’t want to give the impression that this is some spin-off featuring, I dunno, the League or something, in the same Earth-16 setting. Invasion IS the second season of Young Justice and absolutely features our “Team”. Episode 26 of Season One is time-stamped “December 31″. Episode 1 of Season Two will be time-stamped “January 1″, in essence picking up right where we left off."

Young Justice to premiere in the Fall Season!

Finally! That's what I thought when I read the confirmation that Young Justice will be returning on Cartoon Network for the fall season. I'm hoping that CN starts it off by showing episode 10 "Targets" but I have feeling that CN will start off from the beginning with episode 1. Either way I'm happy that Young Justice is coming back. Does the fall season for television shows start in September? When I find out the airing date I will quickly post it on the blog, so be on the look out :) I know I had mentioned the fall season in the post that I wrote a few days ago about the new promotional poster but after some more research I thought I should mentioned it again since it's such big news :D

I would also like to write that "Batman: The Brave and The Bold" will also be airing in the fall season. I know there is a lot of Young Justice fans who love "Batman: The Brave and The Bold". Plus some more exciting news is the new series "Green Latern: The animated series" will also have a time slot for the fall season. Wow there's going to be a lot of DC entertainment going on! I'm pretty excited for everything, I just hope CN keeps on giving us fans new episodes each week! How do you guys feel about CN's fall season?

Young Justice comic book issue #5 and #6

Young Justice comic book issue #5 and #6 are out for grabs, I think it's been available to buy since last month. I do have three issues of the comic book and I would love to buy #5 and #6, they look pretty entertaining. Oh now that I remember, I know some of the Young Justice fans don't live in the USA and other countries that easily sell YJ comics, I have a friend who lives in Norway and has to travel some miles to get to the nearest comic book store, so I suggest if you do have trouble with that then you can buy the comics online :) I bought my first Young Justice comic (#0) on amazon.com and the rest I just stopped being lazy and went to buy them at the store, there's a comic store  real close to me lol. Does anyone have any interest in buying the latest comic issues?

(Issue #5)  Aqualad, Robin, Kid Flash, Superboy and Miss Martian are ready for their first mission as a team. To get to know each other better, they decide to trade stories around the campfire, revealing how they all started as crimefighters. Will this bring them together or underscore their differences?

(Issue #6)  Campfire bonding continues as the members of the team share their background stories as well as their hopes and fears. But when do these team-building exchanges cross over into TMI territory? How about when Superboy tells everyone how he's thinking of taking out Superman?
