What I'm excited about is that this pic kind of gives a clue of what might happen in season 2. Batgirl? Lagoon Boy? Miss Martian's shorter hair? and Aqualad's new costume? Interesting. This is the website that I found the pic from, http://forums.comicbookresources.com.
WTF?! Jeezz, Batgirl? I knew it lol! I loved it short hair of MM, even when I can't see a lot of it lol! New characters (who's Lagoon Boy?), new clothes, I think that this new season will rock! Maybe this "Invasion" talks about New Genesis and Dark Side ("The Villain")! I love when he appears, is always dangerous and excited! And most important, he always kicks a lot Superman's ass lol!! DeleteI don't know if I like MM w/short hair, but it's a more mature appearence for her. I've seen images of her w/short hair before, but when you can manipulate your shape any way you want a "haircut" never has to be a mistake, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the Batgirl featured is going to be the obvious choice of Barbara Gordon whom I'd assume is extremely inexeperianced & take up a lot of Robin's attention (taking it away from Zatanna), but she could have been Batgirl for a while & they haven't suggested it in the show.
The 1st Batgirl was named Bette Kane, but replaced by Barbara only a few years later. I think that would be pretty interesting, but doubtful.
I don't know much about Lagoon Boy either other than he looks like Swamp Thing, lol.
Darkseid is pure evil. If they use him for the Invasion it's going to be epic & I'd be going crazy over seeing the baddies he brings w/him like Granny Goodness & maybe yong versions of her Female Furies.
Getting ahead of myself here, because it's unpredictable how they meld in random characters from the original Young Justice. Take Harm & Secret for example. Greta Hayes was a member of YJ as Secret (ghostly entity that can interact w/the living & pass between worlds of living & dead), but looks like a 1 shot for both.
From what I can see, the Batgirl costume actually looks like Cass's costume. Have no idea whatsover as to why they would have Cass in Young Justice (or even her costume) but...*shrugs*

I honestly don't see how they could have Barbara be Batgirl with her only appearing for 2 seconds in one episode. But I've heard a rumor that on the other side of the box there's Kid FLash, Batgirl and Lagoon Boy. So Artemis and Superboy are missing from the packaging. I have a theory that maybe Artemis will take up the Batgirl mantle.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that rumor was going around, but sounds very juicy! I need to look up Lagoon Boy since idk about him. No Superboy on the package is nerve-wracking and it would be totally epic if Artemis became Batgirl but I wonder what events took place for her to become that.
